Olaparib can be taken alone or in combination with
Abiraterone and Prednisone or Prednisolone
How to take Olaparib on its own
For adults with mCRPC tumors with an HRR mutation after progression on Enzalutamide or Abiraterone.
Take each dose 12 hours apart with or without food. Your doctor will determine how long you receive Olaparib.
How to take Olaparib in combination with Abiraterone and
Prednisone or Prednisolone
Take each dose of Olaparib 12 hours apart with or without food. Talk to your doctor about how to take Abiraterone and Prednisone or Prednisolone.
N.B. If you are receiving gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analog therapy, you should continue with this treatment during your treatment with Olaparib, unless you have had a surgery to lower the amount of testosterone in your body (surgical castration).
